Let's Talk Growth - The Inside-Out Approach
Leading from the Inside Out: The Power of Self-Awareness
Last week, I shared how our Survival Mechanism can quietly run the show, holding us back from truly intentional leadership. This week, with the principle of your personal awareness before caring for others, we take it a step further.
In my coaching experience, breakthroughs don’t come from just learning to manage a team or communicate better. They come when leaders take an inside-out approach—starting with themselves.
Here’s why this matters: if we’re not aware of our own reactive patterns, like The Judge or The Controller, how can we truly understand and support others?
Self-awareness helps us to understand how our own limiting beliefs can influence not only our own actions, but also the way we interpret the actions of others.
When leaders embrace this reflection, the results are powerful. They start noticing the difference between reacting and responding. They listen better, build trust faster, and foster environments where their teams feel seen and heard.
The truth is, you can’t inspire clarity, caring-courage, and purpose in others if you haven’t nurtured it within yourself first.
Leadership starts from the inside—when you grow, the people around you will grow too.
So, here’s a challenge for the week:
🌱 What limiting belief pattern have you observed in yourself recently?
🌱 How might it be influencing the way you lead or coach others?
Let’s talk growth from the inside out 😊!
